Which decking is right for me?

Five questions, about a minute. You get a straight recommendation, why it fits, and what it costs installed in the Miami Valley. Nothing is sent, this runs in your browser.

Question 1 of 5

How long do you plan to stay in this house?

The longer you stay, the more a low-maintenance board pays you back.

What the three choices actually mean

Almost every deck in the Miami Valley comes down to one of three boards. Pressure treated pine is the cheapest to install and the most work to own. Capped composite sits in the middle: a composite core wrapped in a polymer shell, no staining, and the most common choice for a family deck. Capped PVC is the premium end, the most resistant to moisture and staining, and the usual pick where a deck sits in full sun or around a pool.

You can read the detail on each one before or after the quiz: wood decks, composite decking and the deck cost guide. If you would rather just talk it through, call (326) 339-5578 and we will tell you honestly which one suits your house, even when it is the cheaper option.
